INTRODUCTION

This portfolio is intended to demonstrate that I am a continuous learner. I hope to illustrate that my professional skills are based on evidence and experience. My career in healthcare to date has been a varied one during which time I have become skilled in areas in which I did not foresee. By collecting and collaborating my experiences into an online healthcare portfolio I hope to highlight areas in which I am skilled and conversely, areas in which I have gaps in knowledge. My portfolio will illustrate how my experiences so far have contributed to my passion for safe and quality service development in rural and remote areas. In the future, I would like to be in a position that works to inform mental health policy development for rural and remote communities. Therefore, it will be of significant importance to able to demonstrate through the collection of professional evidence and experiences that I have the abilities and skills to do so.
